West Branch Brook Culvert Assessment and Design - Final Report

Project SHARE conducted a preconstruction site assessment of the 30-00-0 road crossing of West Branch Brook. West Branch Brook is a head water tributary of the Narraguagus River. The Beddington Lake HUC 12 is the top priority focus area for Atlantic salmon restoration in the Narraguagus River. Funding for this project was provided by the Gulf of Maine Council with assistance from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Maine Fishery Resources Office.

Diadromous Species Restoration Research Network

The goal of DSRRN is to advance the science of diadromous fish restoration and promote state-of-the-art scientific approaches to multiple-species restoration through workshops, conferences, web sharing, and journal publications. DSRRN is a joint project of the Senator George J. Mitchell Center for Environmental & Watershed Research at the University of Maine and the University of Southern Maine. Funding for the project was received from the National Science Foundation.
