Employment opportunity
The Downeast Salmon Federation is hiring for three positions:
  • Associate Director
  • Conservation Project Manager
  • Membership, Development, and Communication Assistant
The Downeast Salmon Federation is based in eastern Maine and is a leading innovator in recovering populations of sea-run fish. Our work includes removing dams and other river barriers, in-stream habitat restoration, fish population monitoring and assessment, riparian corridor and upland conservation, education and outreach, and stock enhancement. DSF operates a unique and innovative conservation hatchery that outperforms all other rearing and stocking strategies currently used in Atlantic salmon recovery efforts.
Join a dynamic team that is successfully restoring damaged ecosystems and decimated fish populations. We are committed to seeing our rivers and streams once again teaming with fish.
