Developed by The Nature Conservancy with support from the North Atlantic Landscape Conservation Cooperative (LCC), the new Lakes and Ponds Classification System is based upon four key variables that are used to organize aquatic natural communities, and importantly, can be mapped consistently across the region and United States.

Learn how to apply the classification system for more effective conservation of aquatic ecosystems in the Northeast region during a webinar led by The Nature Conservancy's Director of Conservation Science Mark Anderson and Aquatic Ecologist Arlene Olivero.

The webinar will take place from from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, May 19th.
